Microsoft has announced that it is ending support and security updates to Internet Explorer 10 - and all versions before it.
From January 12th, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical support and security updates. Internet Explorer 11 is the current version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
What does this mean for me?
Due to the lack of updates and support, it means that security updates patch vulnerabilities that may be exploited by malware. Regular security updates help protect computers from malicious attacks, so upgrading and staying current is important. Because of this, you should make sure you have the latest version of Internet Explorer and one of the supporter operating systems (W7, W8.1 and W10).
How do I update Internet Explorer?
Enterprise customers

What are the risks of not updating?
Running older versions of Internet Explorer after January 12, 2016 could potentially expose you to many risks, such as:
Security
Without critical browser security updates, your PC may become vulnerable to harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software which can steal or damage your business data and information.
Lack of Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Support
Many software vendors no longer support older versions of Internet Explorer. For example, Office 365 takes advantage of modern web standards and runs best with the latest browser.
