6 questions for new team member Emma Blandamer
Emma is one of Cosmic's newest members of staff, so we asked her some questions about herself so you can get to know her a little bit better
1. What do you do here at Cosmic?
I am the new Digital Marketing Apprentice. I’m here to learn about how this organisation handles Social Media, Marketing Campaigns and shares stories with its customers. I will also be supporting the design and development of content through photography and the use of design software.
2. What’s your favourite part about the job, and what are you most excited about doing?
I love working with and meeting new people, I’m also excited to start my career in Marketing and Cosmic is a very welcoming place to get started in.
3. What do you like most about Cosmic?
I really love Cosmic’s ethics and their work as a Social Enterprise, along with this all the staff are friendly and it’s a really fun environment to work in.
4. What is the most interesting thing about you or that you have done?
At the start of 2018 I took part on a course with the British Film Institute where I directed my own documentary with a team of 8 people. It was a really great experience and a lot of hard work, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
5. Are you Apple or Android?
Definitely Apple, I switched over from Android a few years ago and never looked back, though I will admit I’m not such a fan of Macs.
6. What are your hobbies or interests?
Two of my main hobbies are photography and writing. I would consider myself a creative individual and I love all things arty. I’m also a huge fan of videogames and have been an avid gamer for years.
