Pete Goff is the Web Coordinator at Cosmic and has been with us for over eight years.
At Cosmic, Pete will help with the initial contact and development brief, and then ensure communication is maintained throughout the web development process keeping customers up-to-date and involved at each stage.
Pete loves working at Cosmic as he is able to learn lots of new skills which he can then pass on to others. He says his must-do job on a daily basis is to read and reply to e-mails! Although, one thing he always leaves until last is locking the windows in the office.
When asked how Cosmic is different to other places that he’s worked in, Pete said that everywhere else he’s worked is very structured in management so you know your place, whereas at Cosmic he feels encouraged to input and everyone’s voice is important.
We asked Pete to describe his average day in the Cosmic office. “Sit down, start Outlook. Work through my first 20 emails sent from yesterday. Make a drink for everyone. Come back 10 minutes later and answer the 10 emails that arrived whilst I was in the kitchen. Receive phone calls, write quotes, find solutions to problems. Then answer the next emails. Then Lunch. Project planning with colleagues and a bit of office banter early afternoon. More emails. A client meeting or training session out and about. Then lock windows and go home.”
When he’s not at work, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife and looking after his two children who are three months old and four years old. He also has green fingers – he likes landscaping his garden, erecting sheds and decorating. 
Like other members of the team, Pete likes playing video games, reading technology news and watching videos on YouTube. He also enjoys reading, using his Android phone and watching TV series Game of Thrones.
Pete’s claim to fame is once being touched by Tori Amos, and if he had to create a new law it he would make sure you are handcuffed to a complete stranger for one day a year.
And finally, Pete’s interesting fact about himself is that he has a degree in Illustration.
