In Pinterest's latest update we will be seeing some significant changes from the site.
An e-mail was sent out to all users stating the changes to come. One you may have already seen is the new design. This is being rolled out universally over accounts and some have it whereas some don't. The new look is sleek and smooth.
If you'd like to switch your account to the new look, you can do so by clicking the drop down by your username and selecting the bottom option. This may seem like a brilliant upgrade, but this is not nearly as exciting as Pinterest's other addition. Web analytics will be coming to Pinterest - you will be able to see where pins are being posted and more! Here is the e-mail sent to users:
"Today we’re excited to announce Pinterest Web Analytics. Now you can see how many people have pinned content from your site, what content is most popular with pinners, and more.
"To get started:
- Get early access to Pinterest’s new look.
- Make sure you have a verified website. If you have a website listed on your profile with a check mark next to it, you’re verified. If not, follow these stepsto verify.
- Once your website is verified, go to the top right menu and click on Analytics.
- Start exploring! Select time frames to analyze, see where pins are being posted, and more.Check out everything you can do in this video tour.

This makes Pinterest a much more appealing tool to use as you will be able to see just how effective it will be and how it will impact your website and/or business.
