New Project Announcement! | Cosmic Skip to main content

We are very excited to announce the launch of a great new project for Cosmic, funded by the ERDF.

The Digital Utilisation for Growth project - or DUG for short - will support businesses across Devon and Somerset over the next three years. The aim is to support SMEs with training, workshops, mentoring and guidance on how Digital technology can help businesses to grow and thrive.

We are now on the hunt for new team members to join Cosmic and help to develop plans further - ready for delivery to commence - and we're particularly keen to hear from you if you have a passion for digital skills and support, and the advantage which digital technologies can bring to our local businesses. To get things underway, we want to hear from people interested in the following roles:

Project Manager, Salary £35k per year

This role will be responsible for the management of the project, ensuring successful planning, delivery and reporting. The project manager will ensure effective and efficient processes are in place to support all delivery plans, monitoring performance and providing supervision and support to project staff.  Our ideal candidate will have previous project management experience and a real flare for developing and leading project delivery to high standard and with an inspirational and motivational style. Events Co-ordinator, Salary £20k

This role will promote, organise and collate records of all training events in the project – including: workshops, masterclasses, network events and individual mentoring sessions. Our ideal candidate will have experience of the co-ordination and delivery of events including venues, staffing, partner support, and providing administrative support to the project team. A very well organised, highly efficient and excellent communicator will fit the bill! Find out more here.
