You may have seen the video of our CEO Julie Hawker doing the ice bucket challenge in aid of ALS. (Just in case you haven’t we’ve included it below). But a new craze could be set to sweep the nation. Let us introduce the #bookbucketchallenge.
Don’t worry- this is not a challenge involving a bucket full of hardback copies of ‘The complete works of Shakespeare’ and a bruised and battered head. Instead it’s a rather less violent alternative aimed at spreading the love of reading and sharing some of your favourite reads so that your friends can enjoy them too. Perhaps they can even borrow your copy?
To take part in the #bookbucketchallenge you need to:
- Like the Facebook page for the #bookbucketchallenge (https://www.facebook.com/BookBucketChallenge)
Then:
- Write a list of the top 10 books that have inspired you and post it on your wall
- Tag your friends and challenge them to have a go
