Authorship is still pretty new to most people, so why is getting a Google Authorship Ranking so important?
I found this link to a beta version of a piece of ranking software which tells you how good your Google Authorship ranking is. It may not be completely accurate but it does give you an indication as to what is possible to score through this new algorithm.
Below is a link which, if you enter your Google+ URL, will give you your score too. If you have no idea what this is all about, have a read of the paragraph below which should point you in the right direction and inform you why Authorship is becoming more and more important. You will need an active Google+ account to make this work, so grab yourself a Gmail e-mail address and get started (if you haven’t already).
It’s a little vain, but we need to be able to measure these metrics to make sure we’re improving (at least in Google’s eyes anyway).
