Catt Kinsey is one of Cosmic's newest members of staff, so we asked her some questions about herself so you can get to know her a little bit better.
1. What do you do here at Cosmic?
I am the new Positive People Digital Trainer in the South Somerset area.
2. What’s your favourite part about the job, and what are you most excited about doing?
Having worked on projects like this before I understand the massive positive effect on those involved and am very excited to get out there and make a difference in the community. I know that in this modern age it can be easy to forget that not everyone has access to a way of learning digital skills and I think it’s important that everyone be given this chance.
3. What do you like most about Cosmic?
The people at Cosmic are great, everyone has an amazing ethos and a genuine desire to help others. The outlook of the company and all the staff are very much aligned and it is a humbling environment to be part of.
4. What is the most interesting thing about you or that you have done?
In April this year I returned from a ski season in Bulgaria where I had been living since December, so can now hold a basic conversation in Bulgarian! I was also born and lived in Barbados.
5. Are you Apple or Android?
This is a tricky one as I can see the benefits of both. I am currently rocking an apple laptop and tablet as I often do illustration and they seem to perform better in this area. However, I have an android phone as the customisation, camera and cost are superior to its apple competitor.
6. What are your hobbies or interests?
I am an ex figure-skater and enjoy getting on the ice when possible as well as roller blading, skiing and surfing. I am also a huge fan of walking and most of my holidays are spent up a mountain of some kind.
