WordPress started in 2003 and since that time has grown from being a blogging platform to being used by 1/3rd of the web (37% of all websites). We love it because it aligns well with our core beliefs as a social enterprise: it is open source* and very well supported, meaning that Cosmic can provide the right website for you, in a cost effective way - and we don't own the website - you do!
