As CEO here at Cosmic I lead the strategic development work at Cosmic, ensuring that future plans for the business are strong and ambitious and achieve our key aims, objectives and impact. My work includes developing strong partnerships to secure high quality projects focussed on digital skills, digital transformation and digital business support. I am also a lead consultant in our Digital Leadership programme, inspiring and supporting clients to success in their digital strategy and transformation plans.
Leading the team at Cosmic to develop and succeed in our ambitious plans is hugely motivating to me. Our focus on delivery of social and environmental impact and the difference we make to individuals, organisations and businesses is a major part of that motivation. We are developing ambitious plans for the years ahead, to ensure our vision of everyone benefiting from digital technologies can be achieved.
Alongside my work at Cosmic, I am a Trustee at Devon Air Ambulance and at the Good Things Foundation, and on the Board of the South West Business Council. I am also the Chair for the Bank of England's Citizen Panels in the South West.
Previous to Cosmic I was working on IT deployment in local government, including development and delivery of staff training programmes. And before that I was working in the family business (motor trade) but rarely got my hands dirty! Instead I learned a great deal about admin, finance and good business practice.
Outside of Cosmic I am a keen horse-rider and dog owner and enjoy weekends out-and-about across the SW exploring and enjoying the fantastic countryside. I also enjoy painting and sketching - mostly dogs and horses!
