The "Prosper Business Support" project offers free business support for pre-start and trading businesses in Mid Devon, East Devon, and Exeter. The program aims to assist businesses and entrepreneurs in enhancing productivity, achieving net zero goals, entering new markets, and developing new products.
The "Prosper Business Support" project is a collaborative initiative between Business Information Point (BIP) and the digital agency and social enterprise, Cosmic, and is categorised into four main areas:
- Business Change: Support for businesses looking to adopt new practices, enter new markets, launch new products, and improve digital skills.
- Green Business Support: Offers advice on sustainable practices, promoting sustainability without greenwashing, and free carbon audits.
- Start-up Support: Guidance for new businesses, covering business planning, market research, legal structures, and more.
- Employment Advice: Assistance for businesses looking to hire or expand their team, covering employment legislation, setting wages, and recruitment.
Eligible businesses will undergo an initial diagnostic meeting, followed by tailored support that may include one-to-one sessions, workshops, peer group access, and a self-learning platform. The program emphasises sustainability and digital solutions. The support is available to businesses or entrepreneurs in East Devon, Exeter, and Mid Devon. Interested parties can register for the program via the Heart of the South West Growth Hub.
