Trisha is one of our newest members of staff, so we asked her 6 questions all about her new role, and a bit about herself too.

  1. What do you do here at Cosmic?

I’m a Digital Trainer for the Restart Project, so I will be training people in digital skills, remote and face to face, in the Dorset area. The project is aimed at those who have been unemployed for 12-18 months, so I anticipate a diverse client group with varying levels of ability also.

  1. What’s your favourite part about the job, and what are you most excited about doing?

I’ve been a trainer for a while and the part I like the most is that you can have a positive impact on people’s lives, it might seem like a small contribution, but it opens a lot of doors for them in the long run. I’m most excited on this project about the diversity of people we’ll get to work with.

  1. What do you like most about Cosmic?

I like that Cosmic is a Social Enterprise, this is a refreshing change for me having worked for privately owned Limited companies for most of my career.

  1. What is the most interesting thing about you or that you have done?

I’ve fed a tiger at Longleat, being an animal lover, it was really exciting to get to see them so close up.

  1. What’s your favourite piece of digital technology at home or in your pocket?

Has to be my smartphone – it just covers so many uses nowadays (I rarely use it as a phone!).

  1. What are your hobbies or interests?

I enjoy walking, I live right next to a nature reserve which is beautiful to walk round. I also enjoy listening to music, I discovered livestreamed music on Twitch during lockdown and like to catch my favourite streams when I can.
