Here at Cosmic we’re always busy with exciting new projects and opportunities. We’ve put together some information about the newest additions to the many workshop programmes we run. Take a look at what we’ve been up to:
Love Digital: The HOTSW Digital Skills Partnership has a new programme of activities to support skills development across the region, called Digital Momentum. They’re specifically looking to engage with women and/ or people living in high unemployment regions across Somerset, Devon, Torbay and Plymouth. Cosmic will be delivering our Love Digital project to groups of women in 5 regional hubs, aiming to support their career development. The programme focuses on digital skills and helps women to become more confident with technology, including social media, digital marketing, and their own online presence.
EPIC Sessions: These workshops are being run in partnership with the EPIC Centre, an office, event space and science facility in Torbay. The series includes seminars on latest manufacturing techniques, technology and the grass roots of running your business. Half day sessions are targeted at business leaders and managers, with Cosmic providing Digital strategy, marketing and transformation workshops. The programme is open to tenants and non-tenants.
Digital Excellence Programme: The Digital Excellence Programme is a training opportunity for leaders, owners and managers of local businesses in West Somerset and their staff to gain new skills and understanding in digital technology and its impact on business sustainability and growth. It is free to access as part of the West Somerset Opportunity Area Programme whose partners include West Somerset Council. Under the Digital Excellence Programme we are offering a number of workshops for Exmoor Businesses to help them reach new customers and grow their businesses through digital. We also have a number of workshops available in Minehead teaching a range of skills from Google Analytics to the basics of blogging.
Digital Angels: Also funded by the Digital Excellence Programme, Digital Angels is a new programme of workshops created to support women in starting their own Social Media Management businesses. Based in the West Somerset area, Digital Angels offers an intensive series of workshops designed to support and develop the digital skills needed to start your own Social Media business.
