They are free to use and usually generate their income from payments from the retailers listed, either via a flat fee or each time a user clicks through to the retailer. The aim is to save you money on all types of products and services, and help you find the best deal online.

Not technically a price comparison search engine but they do the hard work to help you save money on anything from loans and credit cards to online discounts and cashbacks whilst throwing in useful consumer advice, rights and refunds, and financial education. There is also a very useful and active community ready to answer your questions and offer advice.

Usually best for making savings on all types of insurance (car, travel, home), bank accounts, credit cards, loans, other financial services, energy and utilities, phone & broadband, mobile phone contracts.
