Breaking Barriers with Partnership Working

At Cosmic, we have always believed in the power of collaboration to create positive change. building a strong and dynamic working relationship with our partners has always been one of our primary goals when starting any project. In this blog, we want to highlight why this plays a pivotal role in empowering our participants towards their success. The project here is Restart which provides much-needed support and learning to people currently seeking employment, and our partners are Seetec Pluss a leading provider of employability support.

Recently, we have had the opportunity to work with a participant with impaired sight seeking support through the Restart Scheme. When she approached the Restart team with specific needs and aspirations, they embraced the challenge with a can-do attitude and were always there to offer advice and support. Daniel Bache, a digital trainer with Cosmic team, has since worked closely with Sharon at Seetec to offer the participant specific and unique help based upon their digital needs to provide the best possible service and learning experience for them. Whether it was related to gaining better access to digital devices or acquiring funding for relevant courses, our collaborative approach aimed to alleviate the obstacles hindering their progress.

Between us, we have fostered an environment of open communication. By sharing information about our services and processes, we equip our participants with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions and actively participate in their own journey. Our teamwork has allowed us to provide comprehensive assistance, including mentoring, skills development, and access to relevant resources. With a shared commitment to the success of our participants, we work together to ensure they have the tools and support needed to overcome her challenges and engender personal and professional growth.

This partnership clearly demonstrates how we effectively work with other organisations in the interest of achieving the highest standards of delivery and support.

We never settle for "no" but instead strive to explore all avenues and find solutions that empower the participants. By working together, we have created a robust and inclusive service that puts the participants' needs first. With the future holding exciting possibilities for collaboration, we are confident that our joint efforts will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of those we support.
