Cosmic’s web team have been extremely busy lately designing and building new content management system websites, and one of those websites was for Taunton-based pub Blagdon Inn.
The Blagdon Inn is a village pub, just outside Taunton on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, with the countryside at its core. Blagdon Inn raises a lot of its own livestock and grows a lot of its own produce, and when they haven’t raised it or grown it, they locally source it.
The Blagdon Inn team approached Cosmic for a new content management system website to reflect the work they do, and Cosmic responded by designing and building a classy website using natural, earthy colours to really show off the excellent food and service offered by Blagdon Inn and its staff.
The website was designed in such a way that it could really flaunt the beautiful food offered by head chef Sam Rom – lots of high quality images supplied by Blagdon Inn were implemented into the website in the most eye catching ways possible – an example of this is the rotating header on the homepage which flicks through a series of delicious looks dishes!
Within the site, Blagdon Inn needed the ability to share news about the pub, as well as give exposure to their suppliers such as Otter Brewery, Trickys Cider and Hanson Fine Foods.
