On Monday 2nd December we had a master class session from our Website Co-Ordinator Pete Goff and Web Developer Ben Mayo-Smith on how to use Photoshop; in this session we learned how to use Photoshop for web design and general use. From the talk we learned what all the different tools do and how we can use them effectively in our work. Everyone found the session very interesting and helpful.
Some of the tools we learned about were the clone stamp which allows you to take part of a picture/image and blend in the background behind this can be useful if there’s something in the picture that you don’t want.
The other is the magic wand tool which can be used to select part of a picture which you may want to cut out and add into another image or to completely remove it from the image.
