Derick came to us in 2018 with a fantastic skill in Genealogy (family history).
This is Derick’s hobby and he uses library record facilities and records offices to find out his information. Derick wanted to turn his hobby into a career and nobody could argue his ability to make this happen.
Wouldn't we all love to make money doing what we love!?
Derick’s biggest barrier to this was his digital skills and access to a website. Through Positive People Derick worked with our digital training team to get the skills required to promote his business on social media. Derick was then supported to build a website, this involved a large amount of work to make sure it showed off Derick’s skills.
