Dorset Business Leaders Have Chance To Excel

Digital skills experts Cosmic are calling on Dorset business leaders to take advantage of a free programme to help them stay one step ahead in an increasingly tech driven world.

Cosmic, a social enterprise offering training and support in all things digital, has teamed up with Dorset Council to provide a fully funded course in the use of the latest digital tools.

Designed to suit people in senior and leadership roles in Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) in sectors ranging from manufacturing and construction to health care and hospitality, the programme aims to give participants a competitive edge.

According to Cosmic CEO Julie Hawker MBE, informed use of digital tools can help future proof organisations, streamline operations, spur innovation and improve communications.

“There is a lot of talk about AI at the moment which some people can see as a threat to their business but our course shows how it can be incorporated into plans and processes to huge advantage,” said Julie. “Only 50 places are available on the programme and they are filling fast”.

Cllr Simon Clifford of Dorset Council and Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership said: “This is an excellent opportunity for our business leaders to ensure they stay ahead of the game by using all the tools at their disposal and I would urge any who have not yet signed up and think they would benefit to do so.”

Those who register will benefit from:

  • Interactive virtual sessions with real-time Q&A
  • 1:1 mentoring
  • A certificate of completion
  • Exclusive access to a network of Dorset’s top business leaders
