Cosmic's Chief Executive Julie Hawker recently visited her old school - Colyton Grammar - to discuss her career journey with the students there.
Julie attended the school as a teenager and was asked to talk with pupils all about her career choices and journey after leaving the school - this of course involves becoming the CEO at Cosmic and being at the forefront of women in technology.
During the talk, Julie primarily focused on career paths to social enterprise and obtaining digital skills.
Leading the business forward with strong skills in strategic planning, project development, relationship and network development. Julie is a keen advocate of IT solutions which truly improve businesses and lives.
Julie contributes in various training programmes and our consultancy service, particularly where organisations are seeking to develop leadership and their business models. She is well known for her passion for social enterprise and successful achievement in all our work.
After the session, Colyton Grammar School's Funding and Development Officer Dr. Emma Styles said:
A big thank you for making the time out to visit the school on Tuesday, it was great to welcome you back and to have you talk to the students. It makes a big difference to have past students visit the school and inspire them. Especially in the world of IT and social enterprise and the importance of ‘giving back’ in todays world.
If you would be interested in Cosmic coming to talk to your business, school or organisation, please get in touch and we would be more than happy to help.
