Exeter Tenants website goes live
August 9th 2006
The latest in our portfolio of websites went live last week. This was a site designed and developed for Exeter Tenants and can be visitied at http://www.exetertenants.org.uk
Steve Deakin from Exeter Tenants feed back on the benefits of the website and his time with Cosmic during the development of the website;
"The exetertenants.org.uk website was developed in consultation with the Exeter City Council Tenants and Leaseholder Consultation Group.
What we were looking for was a website where tenants could easily access a library of useful information and downloadable documents, get access to minutes of meetings, find copies of Tenants News and also find details of how to get involved with and contact the Council. On top of which and probably more importantly the primary function of the site had to be a place where the Tenants and Residents Associations (T&RA’s) had their own domain. The individual domains would allow T&RA’s to post minutes and advertise meetings, show events and fundraising efforts etc. They would also have an interactive section where visitors could post comments and questions. This would allow the T&RA’s to share Best Practice, see what issues are affecting different areas pass information and offer support to each other.
From its inception, through the design process and to the launch of the website, Project Cosmic have been very supportive, creative and patient. Every aspect of the sites development was taken care of on our behalf, from securing the domain name to training the T&RA representatives who would administer their particular website."
