COSMIC is currently working with Devon County Council in the provision of training and support for Food and Drink sector businesses in their use of ICT. So far this has involved recording filmed case studies of eight local business which have used ICT effectively, and also running workshop events aimed at engaging others in the sector to consider using ICT in their own businesses.

The training team are now preparing to deliver a programme of tailored training for Food and Drink businesses across the county starting in September. Information collected from the workshop events is providing the framework for this training programme to ensure that it really hits the targets for skills which will help our food businesses most in the coming years.
