New Website Legislation
January 5th 2007From January 1st 2007 new legislation comes into play which states that Companies in the UK must include certain regulatory information on their websites and in their email footers.
As a result companies are being asked to list their company registration number, place of registration, and registered office address on websites. This is as a result of an update to the legislation of 1985. The information, which must be in legible characters, should also appear on order forms and in emails.
