Dorset Community Action - Connecting Dorset Project, research and feasibility study for ICT resources in village halls and parish councils. Work resulted in a successful bid for three years funding to implement the project totalling over £500k. www.connectingdorset.org.uk
SkillsQuest - Mentoring support for the development of a new Social Enterprise delivering training services in Somerset. This resulted in the successful review of governance and business planning process. www.skillsquest.org.uk
RISE - Research and feasibility in the development of a Social Enterprise trade association and brand. This resulted in successful Lottery funding for a three year project to implement the association and brand – totalling almost £500k plus added sponsorship. www.rise-sw.co.uk

ICT Hub : Unmet Needs Project - A national research programme and consultation on the development of social enterprises across the UK delivering ICT support and services to third sector. Gathering case studies and facilitating workshop discussions to generate interest and obtain experience and feedback on the proposals ahead of final report. www.icthub.org.uk
LSC : Train2Gain - Research and reporting on the implementation of the Train2Gain programme within the third sector. This included the development of materials for use by brokers of the service and proposals to improve the engagement of VCOs and Social Enterprises. www.traintogain.gov.uk
ASDAN - The development of a social accounting system and production of first social accounts. Support through the social audit process and follow-up work focussing on the development of ICT systems to support ongoing social accounting. www.asdan.org.uk
ICT Hub : ICT services for the third sector - Research and development of proposals for the investment in new forms and sources of third sector based ICT Support specifically in sub-regional areas of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Consultation with organisations and development of proposals for further consultation and discussion with local consortia.

In addition to full consultancy projects, we are also able to offer individual consultants on day-rate basis to help with facilitation of workshops, development of proposals and funding bids, or any help with project management, evaluation or development.
Speakers
Our consultancy team are well experienced at public speaking and are available to present at conferences, seminars and network meetings. Day rates for speaking engagements start at just £450 per day.
Mentoring
Does your organisation need a more flexible arrangement for its consultancy support? Engage COSMIC’s team as mentors (individually or together) and use our time-bank system for providing the input and advice which you need, when you need it most. Our mentoring service can be arranged with personal meetings, phone and email support, or via secure online mentoring systems.
